Early Bird: $230 ends April 1st
Sibling Discount: $20 off begins April 2nd
The Vassar Girls Basketball Camp provides the opportunity for campers to learn the fundamentals of the game. We work with players of all skill sets. It is our mission to have each camper leave camp a better basketball player than when they came in. A low camper-to-counselor ratio ensures that each camper gets personal attention to maximize her full potential. The morning session focuses on fundamental work such as, ball handling, passing, shooting, and footwork. Campers are grouped by age and skill set. The afternoon session begins with a team bonding exercise. The exercises stress teamwork, communication, and leadership. 5 vs. 5 play and game situation drills follow our team bonding exercises. Our emphasis all week long is to help each player take their skill set to the next level and to give them drills that they can do on their own to continue to improve their game. The Vassar Girls Basketball Camp objectives are to improve each camper’s fundamental skill set, their confidence in oneself; teach the rules of the game, and to improve offensive and defensive positional play. It is our goal to have each girl leave camp more confident, more fundamentally sound, and excited about the game of basketball while making new friends.
